About me

I graduated from Warsaw University Faculty of Law and Administration.  I also graduated from the Centre for American Law which is a joint initiative of my alma mater and the University of Florida Levin College of Law. I participated in Moot Court Competition 2003. Recently, I have completed my studies at the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Centre for Translation Studies, Warsaw University Faculty of Applied Linguistics. I am working hard preparing for the national certified translator examination.

Experience

During my legal studies, I worked as an intern and a legal clerk in several Warsaw-based law firms . I learned there the basics of legal profession. As it turned out, that knowledge became an invaluable element of my legal translator's skills. Later on, I worked as a foreign contacts executive in a trade company, exploring the subject of international business communications.
For the last two years I have been operating as a freelance translator. I have collaborated with numerous businesses in Poland and abroad, including translation & localization companies in the United States, Great Britain and India. The scope of my translations expands well beyond my legal specialization and comprises, among others, subtitling and general business translations.
